Knitting & Crochet

Who is this suitable for?

Our classes are suitable for total beginners who have never picked up a ball of yarn before and those with more experience. Our tutor will guide you through your chosen project at your own pace. You can choose to knit, crochet or both throughout this course.

What will I learn?

If you are a total beginner, we will start you off learning some basic stitches. Once you are confident with those you will work on your own project. Our tutor is here to provide inspiration in starting your first project and helping you choose a suitable pattern and the yarn to match.

If you already know some of the basic stitches but would like to advance, we can guide you and set more challenging projects for you to develop. Our tutor has many years of experience in all types of fibre crafts.

What do I need to bring?

After we have started you off with some basic yarn and needles/ hook you will need to provide your own yarn, equipment and pattern for your intended project. We can help you do this and guide you throughout. It’s great if you can provide your own kit to comprise of various needles or hooks, stitch markers, pen and paper, scissors and a tape measure. As a student with us you will receive a 10% discount* on anything bought in store (*exclusions apply). We will also provide refreshments during the class.
