Knit and Stitch ("Knit and Stitch", "we", "our" or "us") regards your privacy as very important. We therefore follow strict security procedures in accordance with our legal obligations under the Data Protection Act 1998 (the "Act"). We may change this policy from time to time so please check back regularly to ensure you are happy with any changes.  This policy is effective from April 2015.


Personal Information


Personal information can be submitted via two places on this website: one is via the Newsletter Sign Up form on the homepage.  This information will not be used for any other reason than to contact you via email in order to send you our monthly newsletter regarding exclusive Knit and Stitch news such as upcoming workshops, latest offers and company activity.  This information will not be passed on to any third party.  Information is also collected via the Contact Us form on the Contact page.  We use this information solely as a communication tool to respond to your queries.

You cannot unknowingly reveal any personal information by browsing this website and we will not capture any personal information without your knowledge.


Personal information will also be collected via PayPal if you purchase any goods from our online shop.  This data will only be used for processing payment transactions via a secure website and you can access PayPal’s privacy policy via their website to find out how they collect and use your data.  Contact information submitted during a PayPal transaction will only be used by Knit and Stitch for communication in order to deliver your purchased goods or, in the case of a workshop/class booking, to contact you regarding a specific booking.  We have no access to your credit/debit card details, but we may have access to your billing address and payment history in order to assist with customer service enquiries. Under no circumstances are these details disclosed to any third parties.

Our web site may contain links to other web sites, e.g. Facebook,  which are outside our control and are not covered by this Privacy Policy. If you access other sites using the links provided, the operators of these sites may collect information from you which will be used by them in accordance with their privacy policy, which may differ from ours
