Cancellation Policy (Returns and refunds for online sale of goods).
In accordance with UK law on distance selling, you, the customer, are entitled to cancel your contract with us within 14 days of receiving the goods you purchased. This means that, regardless of reason, you are entitled to a refund so long as you write to us within 14 days of receiving said goods to advise us that you wish to return them. You can either write a letter to Knit & Stitch (Returns), 26 Market Place, Doncaster, DN1 1NE or you can email your notice to firstname.lastname@example.org
Cancellation is only effective if the communication is sent to Knit and Stitch before the end of the cancellation period.
Beyond this cancellation period, you lose the right to return any goods unless the purchased item(s) is faulty on arrival to your dispatch address. You will then be entitled to return the item within 90 days for a full refund.
Once we have notified you of receipt of your cancellation, you should send back to us the items you wish to return within 14 days (please note that you are responsible for the shipping costs of return). Following inspection of the returned goods, we will then arrange to refund you via the same method as used for the original payment within 14 days. However, if it is found that you have diminished the value of the goods by handling them beyond what is necessary to establish their nature, characteristics and function then Knit and Stitch has a right to deduct an amount from the reimbursement.
Please note that the above applies to physical goods purchased only. No returns or refunds are available on purchase of Gift Vouchers and should you wish to cancel a booking for a workshop or six week course, a full refund is only applicable if the cancellation is made 7 days before the start of the workshop or course. No part-refunds are given to those wishing to cancel any remaining sessions of a six week course once the course has been started.
