Hi Knitters and Stitchers,

I love this time of year because with only Easter really on the horizon it's the perfect time to indulge in some selfish crafting. It's the best time to look at my yarn stash and organise what projects I'd like to prioritise or that need finishing. What are you making for yourself at the moment? Packing up to move house has made me realise how many projects I leave unfinished!

Do you find it hard when you finally reach the end of knitting for a garment to muster up the motivation to sew it all up together? I know I do but we had a wonderful workshop last Saturday teching Finishing Off Techniques, full of helpful instructions on various ways of finishing your knitted garments. Don't worry if you missed it, we are running it again on Saturday 11th July 2020. Click here to find out more. but this is what some of you had to say about the class:

"Thank you, very patient tutor, excellent instructions, and lots of great advice"

"Enjoyable course"

"Thank you very much, I can finish all my projects now!"

"Enjoyed the course, the tuition and the company. Definately learned something new today"

Check out some of our ovely students' knitted garments below! They're working on some fab projects and coming to class means they dedicate time to their projects each week. Win-win!

I'm movin house this week, all casses will resume from the 18th February - see you then!

Lots of love,

Dear Knitters and Stitchers,

I hope you are all keeping well in this dreary January. I find this weather just makes me want to curl up in front of the telly with a cup of tea and some cozy crafting! And what better project than a scarf/shawl?

If you're looking for a simple techique that you can use in a versatile way to create beautiful blankets and shawls then our Corner to Corner (C2C) workshop is for you. Have you ever tried it?

This technique looks fabulous when used with a variagated yarn or can be used as a way to incorperate grid colour charts into crochet. Book a space on our Saurday workshop here.

Our weekly students have been working on some gorgeous scarves, cowls and blankets, both knitted and crocheted take a look below for inspiration! What's your favourite yarn for scarves?

We've got some exciting plans in the works for spring so watch this space!

Lots of love,
